Found your Moon article through the Critical-Distance page! I loved it deeply, it genuinely got me to think about a game that I've been interested in for ages but worried I would bounce off of. Your perspective helped me shift my mindset to one where I think I am going to love and care for it as I find the drive and impact in myself while playing. Your story about growing up poor and how it contributed to who you are really resonated with me! I feel like all of my "tech skills" and ability to problem-solve directly come from the many years I spent torrenting The Sims 4 and other games. Now I'm trying to become a game developer myself! (Also your website is soooo beautiful!)

I love love LOVE your blog! Reading through it is giving me flashbacks to my childhood. Your love letter to Pokemon gave me the biggest blast of nostalgia for PokemonElite2000! aw! you were on pe2k too!? hell yes!! i used to spend hours staring, and making sprite sheets on that site too omg, just clicking around and splicing them and stuff! I should show some of them~ So glad we both have those memories in our hearts still. Sending you the biggest thank you~ ^_^
