Found this (and you too, I suppose) through Bluesky. Only read one article so far (The Game Industry being in a loop these days), and I already really like it! It's a pleasure to read someone who actually knows what they're on about and aren't trying to, like, ragebait or just pontificate about something. Also I don't know how you built this website exactly, but it looks sooooo nice. Seriously, I'd like to make sites even half as nice as this . . .

The bar for gaming discourse is so low, mostly because the modern internet is heavily incentivized to reward bad-faith takes and engagement farming... but we both know that lol And thank you for the kind words about the site design. It's literallt just plain html, css and javascript. Poke around the code if you wanna find out how it works! And if you want to build something, you should! Start little and just let yourself play around. ^_^

HI! Found this linked in an article from aftermath.site and I've been reading the blog for a bit and- Damn. Its good, painfully good, honest in a visceral way, love the design of the blog (I'd love to figure out how to make one like this someday - aaaaaaa HTML aaaaaa). Also, its always wonderful to see stuff from my people (Black and queer). That said, hang in there, keep going! Keep writing! There's this blog about art and creativity that hit me really hard, what did it say: "The only wrong art is the art you never let out of you." aaaaaaa. I've been so sick and tired of AI slop and the way the internet feels soulless. But I didn't want to completely give up on the power that the internet has to connect people to cool things. It's so refreshing to see a human curated slice of the web! I love your page, thank you!
